- I got a B on my book review. Trying not to be too disappointed about this; I got a B+ on my ETST paper too.... I haven't had a B since... well, since 4th year undergrad. It doesn't hurt my GPA at all, and I only have one more course to go so it doesn't really matter to me. Still, it stings a bit. I'm going to read the comments closely to see where I went wrong. Same with Dr. B's remarks.
- Dr. HM won't be back in time to sign my paper for a Directed Studies. GDAMMIT! I'll have to ask Nicole what my options are tomorrow. He thinks I might get Dr. ML to sign it in his absence and well, idk.
- Dr. G asked me to write up 500 words about what I've read so far and I just haven't had the time or brainspace. Ugh.
- I ONLY HAVE MARCH AND APRIL AND MAY LEFT.
- On the bright side, my presentation on NDNs in cyberspace went well. I explained Tumblr! We had a GREAT conversation afterwards; I don't think I've ever seen the class so lively.
- I also seem to have volunteered to help a classmate... be one of the readers for a script she'll present at our mini-conference. Me, her and another classmate. We're going to ask if we can all three of us be on the same panel, since we all seem to be presenting on creative projects.
- I spoke a bit about my paper topic today to a couple of classmates and they seemed so enthused about it. I thought it'd be self-indulgent but I'm even more excited than before to write it. Plus, it doesn't have to be more than ten pages. 7 pages of presentation script, even, with 3 pages reflecting on the conference afterwards. I'd rather do ten pages. Maybe I'll have enough material.
- Then 15 pages.
- Sigh. Still feeling kind of overwhelmed and pissed at myself for it.
