To sum:

- LJ closed a HP fandom community because there were graphic depictions of characters in sexual situations, calling it "kiddie porn" and accusing members of being "paedophiles".

- However, LJ continues to allow communities that promote anorexia and religiously motivated child abuse.

- LJ PR relations fails.

- It's obvious that LJ has fallen under the pressure of Conservative rednecks. It's okay that girls are starving themselves (and dying as a result) because "being thin isn't illegal" and following religious advice on how to bring up children that results in failure to thrive, but pairing fictional characters together is somehow hurtful to society at large.

I just want to say, WEAK!

Don't get sucked into the hype, Jha. Why would you leave LJ just because two HP artists got banned for violating ToS when you weren't mad at all at the forum provider for our VHD RP when the entire forum was deleted for violating ToS?

I'm not leaving... I already have a GJ account. I just wanna keep reading Zip's fics! XD

I also recall GJ offering more userpics per free account, and that was where I first learned to customize my journal, so I still have a soft spot for it.

And I was mad at the forum provider... Zip and I angsted over not getting any warning beforehand. I just didn't voice my upset that much
