Damn You, Ben's Rice!

You suck.

I will never buy Ben's Rice ever again. I thought it would be good in a pinch, but as a full-time rice eater, I can say right now, Ben's Rice sucks. It's too dry to begin with, and if you reheat it, it becomes even dryer, and doesn't have a very good texture.

Unfortunately, I also have a half pot left to eat -_-

I too have heard bad things about Minute Rice. In fact, any instant rice from anything (ex. Lipton's Sidekicks) is somewhat lacking.

Indeed *sigh*

Like just about everything that's a shortcut, it's gonna be less than the real thing. 20 minutes can be a drag, but after growing up on Uncle Ben's Rice and then actually making a variety of real rices, I'll never go back. I think my mom might have been the queen of substandard ingredients.

Good idea. Now to figure out what to do with the remainder of the cooked rice...

You can't throw cooked rice at a wedding!

....

It's like throwing... mashed potatoes...
