See, when considering the performance of Creatures of Fae, you can't just consider the physical qualities of all the participants involved. Their past histories are also in consideration.
Were the materials that the assailants made from ripped out of the Mother Earth? Were the blood of men and beast, the tears and lamentation of women, and the secret hatred of Things Too Black To Name involved in its construction?
And it's not even necessarily linear, even. Two out of the three items above? Great, chances have been increased dramatically. All three? Suddenly it can only fail.
