And before anyone freaks out over dermathofofpanjasbwerwjkhdv, it's just dust mites, which would explain a hella lot. I don't understand why people tell me carpeted places are better when clearly they are the bane of my existence. I guess over spring break I should look into getting a steam cleaner.

Yeah, dust mites are the cause of all sorts of allergy horrors. (And we really need to steam clean our carpeting (which is only on the stairs and upstairs) too. Bleh. The only thing more insidious is mold.

I just vacuumed the carpet under and around my writing table and I feel SO much better. I don't really understand people who think carpeted floors are awesome because then very little cleaning is involved?? I do miss wood floors though.

I'm really happy that I'm not THAT allergic to dog dander, though!
