Personal Statements

At the Writing Centre, one of the things we help with is the Personal Statement. For those of you who haven't written one yet, it's basically a one-page "essay" written for the purpose of applying for an award, or a program, which details why you deserve the award (or entry into the program), your education goals, your extracurricular activies and basically gives the committee an idea of who you are.
