Some of you may remember me posting my personal statement applying for a scholarship.
Well.
I GOT IT!!!!!!! I got the Robert Hayes Memorial Scholarship, specifically.
Woot!
Oh, oh.
And I'm a Teaching Assistant. Yes, some of you know I'm TA-ing in the English Department. I'm the TA to Dr Michael Larsen, the acting chair of the department. He doesn't have anything for me to do as yet, and he's not going to make me mark stuff.
I'm now also a TA........
FOR THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT.
Yep. The class is called Technical Communications, and it's basically several assignments culminating into a giant report. He wants me to look over assignments with team leaders every week or so and give an assessment on whether it's shit or not. It's kinda what I do in the Writing Center, but grittier. I think he's seriously underestimating the amount of work I'm going to make these kids do.
