The Girl Effect

Pretty effin' amazing how far a single cow can take a girl.

(And before I get any B.S. about how it's sexist for focusing only on girls, kinda remember the following:

1) In our world, men are more likely to spend on themselves rather than on others.
2) In our world, girls are trained, indoctrined to care for others and put the needs of others ahead of their own.
3) In our world, men have power, and look how fucked we are right now.

And yes, the thing IS oversimplifying stuff. But it does what it can within the two minutes it gets. Not everyone is going to sit through an explanation on how it will take generations before girls will be valued and women will sit on the village council, and why the current status quo is unfavourable, nor how education contributes to well-being, nor how this sort of situation doesn't happen within a cultural vacumn. Yeah, and I bet you don't want to know either.)
