Aug. 29th, 2010 12:19 amYOU GUYS.
YOU GUYS YOU GUYS YOU GUYS.
I HAVE AN AUTOGRAPH FROM YOSHITAKA AMANO.
I waited an hour to get into this Q&A so I could have a ticket for the lottery, and didn't win. But after the folks who won got their autographs we still had a fighting chance to get one, so I lined up anyway, and waited a whole hour of tense anticipation. I'd already bought an artbook of his that's out of print and he had it specially printed for this expo, so even if I didn't get his autograph, I could say I supported his work directly, and I got him to sign the last two pages which has one of his gorgeous gorgeous panoramas. <3<3<3
I have video clips of him answering some questions, and his translator too.
I am so ridiculously exhausted.
Oh, and I saw a preview for Tron: Legacy. Important bits before I forget:
- It is really shiny. They've updated the look of the movie, for sure, to fit with the times.
- There is a game in between the first and second movie. It's interesting because all three of them can stand on their own, but the game ties both together so you see a coherent sequence of events between them.
- In the computer world, there are female programs. The default program is male. And female programs wear high heels.
- This movie is highly unlikely to pass the Bechdel Test.
And now I am going to bed.
