Oh, I really *heart* Jess Nevins. He Tumblr'd a thing on pulp and used the term "Bataan March" in the title of his post, and all I did was reply: "Jess, I *heart* you muchly, but could you please not use that kind of term trivially? Not for me: [url to ephermere's excellent Patalim post] Thanks."

Within five minutes, in my Ask box:

"You were right. Shouldn't have used it casually. My apologies--and thank you for calling me on it!"

And you can see he also modified the title of the post.

- 7.30am wakeup, walked with Cynthia to the uni.
- Marked papers all the way until Cynthia's panel.
- Marked papers and tweeted and Tumblr'd until my 3.30pm lecture.
- Hung out and did my write-in at 5pm.
- Wrote until 7pm, accomplished 5200 words.
- Watched Youtube bids with the houseguest.

Am tired. Going to bed early too, I think. Yeah.

This whole getting ahead thing? Not working out.
