So, went to the hospital yesterday and did a blood test and the results came back positive for dengue fever.
Which might explain: the continuous muscle aches, the aches in places I never thought possible (I lifted my arm and pulled a muscle in my armpit! WHAT THE FUCK!), somehow water doesn't pass through my system as easily as it usually does, at the peak of the fevers I feel like, idk, EXPLODING, being awake takes so much energy I'm out of breath, I haven't had solid food in a while because my tongue can't taste anything worth crap (my brother got me chicken McNuggets.... all I tasted was breading, and that was mostly cardboard), I have difficulty keeping even liquid down if I don't move slowly, where I'm not aching, I'm itching, several parts of my chest feels like it's going to implode.
I'm not feeling particularly human about 100% of the time, compounded by the fact that I'm sleeping in a hella uncomfortable mattress (which I ignore since I'm home only briefly) with a down pillow that I've stated time and again I don't like. Also, nobody in this house knows how to make a smoothie.
I'm going for another blood test today to see what the doctor says and decide from there whether or not to reschedule my flight. Unfortunately if I do then I miss the first two days of classes.
AUGH
