some lists I made about WorldCon

if you are an industry professional there are 4 things you can do:
- panels
- business meetings
- vendor table in dealer room
- parties
it turns out that trying to do all of them will leave you feeling like hell warmed over under your eyelids and skin

things i swapped this weekend:
- someone's toothpaste got into my toiletries bag, probably Gayathri's or Tempest's
- my toothpaste is gone, probably to New York with Liz Gorinsky
- Fran Wilde and I have the same shoe size, she got to experience life without staring up people's noses, and i got to experience her exquisite shoes with the kitten heels

things that were kind of fucked up
- accessibility stuff was not made clear at con
- antifa showing up to the proud boys protest at the front of the convention center and yelled not at the proud boys but at the cops

people whose makeup i did for the Hugos:
- Martha Wells
- Sheila Williams
- Tim Phin
- someone else I can't remember

rooms i stayed in:
- the Tachyon staff room, for one night, because "we are old, and you are probably a party person"
- Gayathri and Tempest, for two nights
- Liz's for two nights
i was supposed to stay the Sunday night with Nilah Magruder, Grace Fong, Miri Baker, and JY Yang, but the Marriott wouldn't bring in a cot, and Liz offered, and i didn't have a way to get in touch with her while she was at the Hugo ceremony, so I napped in Nilah et al's room in the meantime, booked it over to the Hilton

times i ate at the nearby Malaysian restaurant: at least 5

organized meals i attended:
- business meeting with 8 Light Minutes and Tachyon
- sort of business meeting with Rose and Jill
- Pho with Pho (haha)
- POC dinner

times i went to bed:
Thursday: a reasonable 11pm
Friday: 12am
Saturday: probably 1am
Sunday: haha 3am
Monday: 10.30pm
Tuesday: 12am
