Well, IIRC, the Jesuits have a bit of a soft spot for religious tolerance, do they not? Once upon a time, I thought the clergy was there to help those in need, give shelter, help with spiritual quests, and the like. I'm well aware that almost no clergy are like that ANY MORE... But ISTR that Jesuits have had a long history of being very benign and supportive of anyone needing guidance or shelter. It would surprise me if the institution were Catholic, sure... Jesuit? Not so much.
