I'll be honest, this is more for my own pleasure than anything else, but these are too good not to share.
Kitaro's Matsuri played on caklempong (chaa-klEHm-pung), by IIUM's Andeka Caklempong Musical Group:
Michael Buble's Sway played on gamelan (gaa-may-lan):
Rihanna's Umbrella played on angklung (aang-klOHng):
Angklung aren't usually played as a huge range like that - usually it's just one note, or a few, held by one musician, creating a melody when a group of them play together, which makes that performance a bit more impressive. Here're angklung musicians (bamboo shakers) playing Mission Impossible:
Even kids can be coordinated to play these things - witness these 12 - 15 year olds playing the Beatle's Yesterday:
These are how they would rehearse, I imagine:
