Poem: The Cockless City

jhameiaVinh and I were complaining about not getting laid and suddenly he just burst out, "This city is COCKLESS! That's the problem with Hamilton, it's just cockless!"
I don't think it actually is (there are some perfectly good cocks in this department alone. I just can't access them) but you know.
"This city is
cockless!"
cried my friend,
and I wondered
where they went:
did they migrate
to downtown
Toronto, entering
that crushing
multitude of bodies
to find an excuse
to sweat
in the midst of
winter?
Or are they hiding
in the suburbs
of Ancaster, locked
behind buttons
and zippers, pulling
their turtleneck
foreskins over
themselves for shelter?
Are they already paired
with various vaginas
or attending Assholes Anonymous,
to defy winter by
being in heat
out of season?
Perhaps they too, are
resigned to unfucked lives and
scowling grumbles of
"fuck winter."

But I have two separate blogs: a creative writing one that I post creative writing infrequently (http://malissajanephung.blogspot.com/) and a general one on life & exercise that I post more regularly (http://adventureshortround.blogspot.com/). I'll have to remember to check in periodically with yours. Also, I too just started a run/walk program! We truly are sistahs!
