What is wrong with people.

Seriously, what the fucking fuck.

I hate the numbers 4 and 14 as much as the next Cantonese-speaking numerology-believing Asian person, but gee, thanks for using what I know is my irrational superstitious cultural belief as justification for your rebellious fauxgressive anti-PC desire to use whatever words loaded with history and pain and suffering for your own purposes of entertainment.

...

I am sorry! I know I should not harbor hate in my heart! I should do my best to be nice and not overreactive! I should always think the best of people who keep stepping on me!

AND YET. SO MUCH HATE.

It IS TERRIBLE. Were it not for OUR PARLOUS CIVILIZATIONAL and INTELLECTUAL POVERTY, it would ALMOST BE RELATABLE.

I just want to say that ILU for this and for all the comments in this entry and yeah. I had that same "WHUUUUUT?" reaction.

So, basically, the OP is using appropriation and racism to prove that it's not racist or appropriative to appropriate words to describe arious atrocities as part of a trivial jokes and satire by using a joke/satire which employs racism and appropriation to do so. Yeah. There's a hamster on a wheel kind of effect with that. My brain hurts so much.

It's like someone punching you in the face to prove they weren't punching you in the face before, that what actually happened was not a punch in the face because here's an actual punch in the face, and why should they be concerned if their fist meets your face. You're just looking FOR THINGS TO GET OFFENDED ABOUT WITH YOUR FACE.

Did I mention that ILU a lot?

The heaviness of my sighs, you should be able to hear them from Ontario, when you get there.

Ah well, I'm certain the usual suspects will show up soon. I see some of them are already there.

This - there isn't even an excuse for this. I can see how superstition of a number might seem silly to someone who has no context for the superstition, but there's a link to the Wikipedia entry, right there, which provides all the context one could want ... and STILL there is stupidity and asshattery.

The world today, it gives me no hope.
