Weird afternoon dream

jhameiaIsabel blames this on the chocolate milkshake but anyway.
I dreamt I was living in a housing area that was being menaced by these skin-flayers. They would attack people, notably people of color, particularly black people, and gruesomely flay their faces and stuff cotton under the skin and make weird eyestalks out of the eyelids while somehow not disconnecting the eyeballs? And they did it in full view of the whole neigbourhood and nobody could stop them because that meant getting targeted next.
Also my publisher, Bill Campbell, was in the dream talking about attending a workshop.
And Nina Simone's Mississippi Goddamn kept playing in the background.
Woke up when Isabel came in and man that was SO WEIRD.
