(no subject)

Well today was pretty productive. I got to campus by 10am, and stayed until 3pm reading. I also have my Rosarium contract signed and made a PDF with the submission guidelines for THE SEA IS OURS! As soon as jolantru approves her end of the paperwork, we'll send it out to people we've been aiming to invite. Wheeeeeeeeee! SEAsian steampunk anthology here we come!!!

Then it was off to dinner at Little Sheep with Joe, his roommates Gus and Collin (Gus is a classmate) and with a Tumblr friend! And shopping at 99 Ranch... I think I have all the herbs I need for bak kut teh! I'm so excited. I also bought a bunch of joss stuff for New Year... I haven't decided when to burn them but maybe I'll have a little ceremony for myself on Friday. (Joe remarked that I was so very pious. Haha. I like to burn things. Plus, it's never a bad idea to pray for a good year, right?)

Anyway, turns out I forgot we were supposed to read Samuel Delany's Triton for tomorrow's class and the library doesn't have it so I've got to buy it and blow through it as fast as possible tomorrow. Oh well!
