Nov. 13th, 2017 11:52 pmGot a late start, as usual. I really gotta get moving earlier in the day. But I went to campus and put in the OPT permission form for my grad adviser to sign, and then sat in the Grad Lounge balcony to listen to the bell tower recital.
I then went to Coco's to sit there and attempt eating. I forget how full I get after eating just their fries, and their Southern Fried Chicken was suuuuuuper salty. I also had a slice of pie.
I walked off and tried to look for a Pokemon GO-tcha at Gamestop but they didn't seem to have any in stock, so I wandered over to the Getaway to join a Suicune raid there.
I did finally send off my revision for a story I've been trying to get submitted to Beneath Ceaseless Skies... this is the editor's third read and hopefully he likes it. I'm also revising my bobbit worm mermaid story, which is heavily erotica with some elements of horror. I thought of sending it to Circlet Press but, uh, someone dies, erotically??? IDK. I may try to query Uncanny, having chatted with Liz Argall about it.
I'm also trying out Mastodon right now! I'm... not sure I understand it tbh. I'm also resurrecting my Discord, although I don't know how to use that one either.
Also, started looking into Kindle Direct Publishing, because now I have free time and check learn new things that aren't related to my dissertation. I am very much a hands-on kind of learner though, so this whole "reading things" is a bit hard. Still, I'm really wary about just signing onto it? Gaaahhh.
