I don't want to apply for jobs in the States because frankly I have no interest in remaining in the States, but a TT asst prof job in science fiction studies just opened up in Florida and argh.

I should at least try?

I don't know, really. It'd be nice to go back to Malaysia but the state of the university there doesn't sound very fruitful and might actually be horrific. I know I don't want to stay in the States for the long-term. Maybe Canada? Argh! IDK! ;_; I'm kinda taking things as they happen.
