I've been ignorant the past few months to the existance of a music video of my most favourite musician in my entire world: Gary Numan's single, In A Dark Place.

Most of you probably don't know Gary Numan and I will discuss him further in another entry, but if you enjoy alternative / industrial / electric / gothic / dance (yes, his music is very danceable), then you ought to check him out.

I bought his Jagged album today (had to have HMV specially order it in for me since they don't normally stock it) and it's mighty delicious. Maybe it's my period talking, but I had an orgasmic high listening to the CD.

Hmmm I only listening to Gary Numan's 'Cars' and its rather industrial 80's era sounding.

'Cars' is like from 1979. It's the song he's most famous for, aside from "Are Friends Electric?" (which Marilyn Manson has made a cover of), but Numan's new Jagged album far surpasses the quality of Cars.

He needs better video production, though. :D

His newer stuff sounds good, a lot of it is taken from the stuff I usually listen to -- Front 242, Front Line Assembly, Funker Vogt, Assemblage 23, etc. I'll have to check Jagged out.

His favourite bands are Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode and the like. It's weird, because THEY were inspired by HIM.
