In my last post, I asked ya’ll to donate what little you can, even $5 is okay, due to the exchange rate.So far, Yuki has received RM100. Given the exchange rate? That’s USD $32.
So far she’s been unable to line up another job.
She needs to
- pay rent: this month’s and last month’s
- get food
- pay car installments
- get meds: not just hormones, but meds for depression too
Her PayPal address is yuki.choe@yahoo.com, btw.
She has been practically abandoned by the local gay community and can’t go home because her family doesn’t know how to deal with her being trans. She also has mental health issues and is suicidal. She doesn’t want to die, AFAIK, but she doesn’t know how she can survive either.
I know nobody on Tumblr knows her well, not even I, and you’re frankly under no obligation. You probably won’t get back anything, either. But Yuki needs to survive the next couple of months in order to get a new job.

PLEASE SPREAD WIDELY. Post to your other blogs, post to Twitter, anything!
Alternately, you can email her: yuki.choe@yahoo.com. Advice, words of encouragement and support, are all welcome.
PLEASE DONATE! I suggested USD$2,000 the other day, which would be ideal, but a minimum of $1,000 is needed if she is to survive the next month. She currently only has $USD32 from my last drive, so she can get some food.

Please help!!!!

Date: 2011-10-22 06:17 pm (UTC)I don't know how open these communities are but it's worth a shot -- even though it might be worse if she gets turned down. I know Kechara House is pro-LGBT and as a religious community they do a lot of charity work. There's also the gay-friendly church -- I really forgot its name -- which she might want to try for too. Maybe she can give these organizations a call and ask if there's anywhere she can turn to for help.
