jhameia: ME! (Under Control)

So, the costume I'm making is well underway, and I'm sure I'll have all the cloth parts finished by the end of the week, assuming I don't rip the chiffon.

However, I idiotically used pencil to mark on the spandex material and that's visible through the chiffon and I can't seem to get it off.

Short of bleach, I'd love some suggestions.

Things I've tried already:
- alcohol wipes
- nail polish remover
- hand sanitizer
- dish detergent
- scrubbing with a toothbrush

(I haven't tried laundry detergent yet.)

Tide to Go? Seriously, that stuff is amazing.

Just washing it with laundry detergent should work fine. I use pencil all the time mark fabrics. Adding a laundry stain remover [Spray n' Wash, Shout, etc.] or a little laundry detergent directly to the mark prior to washing can improve the chances of removal as well.

As a last resort, make it a decorative pattern like a flower or something?

If you cannot wash it normally, ie: with spray and wash, your best bet is rubbing alcohol with a little bit on lemon juice

Eraser?
Tide to Go
Spray 'n' Wash + Washing it
Milk (It gets ink stain out... Maybe it works for pencil marks too.)
