Halifax Pre-Pre-NaNoWriMo Party!

jhameiaThis is mostly for my f-list peeps who do NaNoWriMo who don't haunt the forums at this time of year, and besides which, posts will be wiped tomorrow and the site will shut down for cleaning.
Registration will be back on October 1, for those interested in signing up for NaNoWriMo. For those of you guys who already do and want to get pre-psyched for it, here're the details for the PRE-pre-NaNo party (the Pre-NaNo party will be in the middle of Oct, before the Kick-Off):
Date: Sunday, Sept 28th
Time: 2pm - 6pm (or whenever)
Venue: Paperchase Cafe, 5228 Blowers St., Halifax
This party isn't anything special, just an informal gathering of participants so we'll feel more comfortable next time we meet, and perhaps make more friends along the way. Some of us haven't seen each other since the last NaNo, too, so this will be an ideal time to catch up.
If there's more info, I'll add it to the new Halifax NaNo Google Calendar!
I'm going to have the couches reserved for us, and am trying to get a headcount. So far, four have confirmed, three possibles (from the forums) and if we don't have enough seats, we'll just take over the rest of the cafe! Muahaha!
We'll get a 10% discount, as usual. Aisha from Paperchase reminded me that this is our THIRD year NaNo-ing at Paperchase! Whee! (Considering that Paperchase itself hasn't been there very long either... maybe 6 years now?) I'm hoping to get cards printed so participants can show it to the cashiers for their 10% discounts, and it'll be for the entire month of November, too! Not just during our events there!
And hyu 'Tignish peeps! Hyu iz velcome, az hyuzual, iffen hyu vould likez to make dot speshul bus trip down.
