Still no Internet.

Right. So not only do I have to pay a $151 electricity bill for the two months I was gone, I will likely also have to pay for Internet and long-distance charges I did not use, and STILL can't use, may I add, since the installation CD has some sort of error. I'm calling Aliant tonight to fix this, because this is ridiculous.

JuJu gave me back my postbox. I haven't been able to fix the Internet thing earlier because I'm at work pretty much all day and I doubt they'd have anybody come in after 5pm to help install this thing.

Wish me luck. I'm gonna get to work now.

I don't know. I called and asked and they said they'd check the eletricity meter. If it's a misread my next bill will be lower, BUT judging that the same thing happened last year ($300 bill... I let it slide because I knew I was using a lot of heat) I DOUBT anything will change. I called my rental agent and he doesn't know anything about it either; no one else has had that complaint. I'm running out of ideas of who else to talk to.

You might not be able to do much about phone and electricity.... but!

You took the steps to get internet suspended! You shouldn't have to pay for that. I dunno what you did with the phone company.

Well, I have to pay full price for the Nov 26 - Dec 26 period, but seasonal for Dec 26 - Jan 26.

I wish I could do something about my electricity bill though =( I really don't understand it at all.
