Apr. 18th, 2011 10:43 pmI'm done my paper on Orlando. Possibly one of the most frustrating experiences of my academic career (and I was almost crying over my Jeanette Winterson paper back in third year). It's only 13 pages, not 15, but I don't care. I went to bed this morning at 6am because I was working on the paper.
Next paper I'm going to work on Sara Ahmed and some other theorists we did in class and see how their theories work together and apparently I have to apply this to a case study.
I have to start looking closely at the submissions for the Omnibus of Dr. Bill Shakes and the Magnificent Ionic Pentatetrameter (that one's got a deadline of May 30, don't forget folks!).
5 page creative assignment for Dr. Stout and 12-page for Dr. Fast.
I've also been in touch with my, uh, aunt Andrea, in Portland, Oregon. Her mom is my dad's aunt (my grandmother's half-sister). Dad and I visited her back in 1994, and I thought, since I'm heading out there for GearCon, I'd get in touch. Andrea and I are TOTALLY hanging out. Even better, she's a costumer! I'm really excited ^^
