Things Accomplished This Week

jhameia- Flew home with little drama. My Kobo is broken, and I tried writing poetry but ended up with lyrics instead.
- Went to the Canadian High Comm. Turns out I have a student visa issued much earlier that expires only on 2012, so I can get back into the country with that. Or so the High Comm tells me.
- Dropped off my passport at the Chinese Embassy since I have to skedaddle to Tibet on the 24th. Which means I don't have a lot of time for revisions and meeting up with people -_-;;
- Had a shoot that was long overdue.
- Ordered new glasses. My new frames are from Dunhill (why a cigarette company is now producing designer eyewear, I don't know, but it was the best frame I could find). They're gold-coloured, and full-framed... the first full framed glasses I've bought in years... usually I get frameless glasses because I like the illusion of nothing framing my eyes, but all the frameless eyewear I've had have had problems, which aren't easy to fix in Canada.
- A page of revisions (which isn't saying much, since I have pretty much 4/5ths of the paper to go).
- Gone through most of the steampunk Shakespeare submissions, with only a few left to go, and it's way overdue. Oh well.
- Fell sick. I'm not pleased about this but hey, better sooner than later. I had a fever last night, and before that all day I'd been feeling like rubbish in my sinuses. Even now I've got cold symptoms. My breath is too hot when I breathe out, and I get cold too easily. I broke my fever, but my nose still feels like rubbish.
Here's hoping I get better by the end of the day because I want to see people, dammit.
