So I really did get lost today in San Francisco. I got in around noon, and decided, hey, all the cool stuff seems to be on the waterfront anyhow, so I'll just keep walking along there. Once I get to the Golden Gate Bridge, I'll walk across town back to the train station! It was a good plan, given the shape of the city.

But it was misting all day. My umbrella could barely handle the wind, and it was either deal with the rain and take a picture, or no pictures and stay dry-ish when I saw the sea lions. By the time I got to Presidia, that fancy schmancy area (WHICH IS SO SCHMANCY I COULDNT EVEN BELIEVE PEOPLE LIVE THERE I MEAN SERIOUSLY WHAT IS GOING ON IN HERE WHAT PLANET IS THIS) I was so drenched, AND my socks were soaked through!

And at that point I was like, shouldn't I see the Golden Gate Bridge by now? I mean, that thing is huge and big and orange. If I look over the bay, I should see it, right?

I was so tired I went to the garden of the Palace of Fine Arts to sit and figure it out, and shouldn't have, because it was SO COLD. But I managed to find my way over to Crissie Park, and the bay trails, and realized, this IS where I should be able to see the bridge. And I got closer and squinted and GEEZ. It was SO cloudy that it was barely visible.

So I walked back and took a cable car from Mason street to Powell and managed to catch a bus to the Caltrain just in time for the 6.56 train, which is the train I wanted to get back to Menlo Park by 7.30.

So, yeah. I'm wiped from walking just about all afternoon (and the shoot last night). Tomorrow, NISI!!!!!!!!!!
