Monday: 2 - 3.30 History of Race, Racism and White Supremacy
Tuesday: 9 - 12 Religion, Politics, and Public Discourse
Wednesday: 9.10 - 10 World Literature Session 23; 11.10 - 12 World Literature 24; 2 - 3.30 History of Race, Racism and White Supremacy
Thursday: NOTHING! Well I might try to hold office hours on this day.
Friday: 2.10 - 3 World Literature Session 26
So far this is my schedule. Wednesday does look packed, but I've done two three-hour seminars in a single day before, so this should be OK. I don't like that I've got stuff going on during the most tiresome hours of my day (which are 2 - 4) but I can sleep afterward I think.
I have a meeting on Monday with the prof I TA for to get a sense of what the workload is to be, and right now I have so many stupid questions about Blackboard, like, I feel I should be able to see what classes I'm teaching on it now. Not that I'll use it very much; I still intend to make in-class writing assignments the norm.
Hopefully I get a sense of Blackboard sooner than later. I don't know if I want to use it much, because I still like using paper for a lot of things. Maybe the prof wants us to do specific things in class too.
Anyways. Going to campus today to inquire about office space, and look for my classrooms. And buy books.
