jhameiaWell... I was vaguely useless again, but I finally got around to edits for my Mythic Delirium story. I also got a rejection from Episode at last. That's gonna kick me in gear to send out more stuff. I also have a notification from USCIS that my OPT application has been received. So there's that.
Nin has clued me to lecturer positions in Critical Theory opening up in Universiti Malaya which is pretty easy to commute to, so I find myself considering academia again. I'm not crazy about the idea, but it's something, and I'd get to move home.
It was a very Pokemon Go filled day: went to the Blaine Church twice to get to gold, and joined a couple of raids. Hung out with a bunch of other players, too. It was really nice.
I attempted to watch the Geminids tonight as well, but the Box Springs Mountain Reserve, which I can walk to, isn't exactly far from civilization, so there was a ton of light pollution and it was hard for me to see anything. Plus it's cold and dark and I was alone. I think I might be able to handle it if I had been with someone.
There are a couple of calls for submissions I've got ideas for, so I have to get started on those too.
